Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I'm super excited. We are staying home for the first time ever! I'm having a pajama party for just us. I can't wait to show the boys (son and stepsons) all the cool stuff I got and made. There is a giant gummy snake, popcorn balls, candy apples, glow sticks, and more! They are going to love it. Can you believe I have NEVER handed out candy on Halloween? Last night I took my dress form Millie, a Styrofoam head, and Halloween lites from my swap to make this. Isn't she scary? The kids thought so. Have a safe and Happy Halloween! Watch out for spookables.

The Joli Paquet was such a blast. Can you believe it was my first official swap?! Maria my swap partner made it extra special for me! Thank you Maria. Here are pictures of what she sent me. There was candy but my family devoured it right away. She also sent a gift card. Such a sweety!
Here is what I sent her. Our goodie bags were so similar!

Bumblebees and Bones

I have adored reading all your comments on Halloween! I thought I would share pics of my favorite Halloween costume my Keegan wore. He was a bumblebee when he was two! Boy he wore that costume out! He wore it around the house forever. This year (he's 10) he is a video game character. Camo, guns, that sort of thing. I sure do miss the cute days!!
Also here is a recipe I tried for this years family Halloween party (we had it early). I called it Guts and Bones! The kids loved it. I didn't have bread sticks so I used pizza dough. I cut it into strips then cut slits in the end about 1/2 inch long. After that I kinda balled up the ends. All the kids loved it!
Guts and Bones!
1 can (7 oz) refrigerated breadsticks (6 breadsticks) or pizza dough
1 egg white, beaten
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce, heated
DIRECTIONS
1.
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Unroll dough; separate at perforations into 6 breadsticks. Roll each until 12 inches long. Loosely tie knot in both ends of each breadstick; place on cookie sheet (do not twist).
2.
Brush breadsticks with egg white. Sprinkle with cheese and seasoning.
3.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm "bones" with warm pizza sauce for dipping
Enjoy!

Quaint Marketplace

I thought I would share with you why I have been "out of the loop" for a while. I got invited to have a table at a local sale called the Quaint Marketplace. I felt so honored to be included with such a lovely group of ladies! So for the last month or so I have been creating, creating, and creating in all my spare time for the market. The pictures above are my table and the pictures below are some of the very talented ladies that where there. It was a lot of hard work but I had so much fun.

The very sweet and talented Roxanne! Thank you so much Roxanne for everything!

There were many more lovely tables but I didn't have time to take pictures! You can blog hop to these links to meet some of the gals and see more.
