Yellow Roses of Texas

Today is Papertrey Inks July Blog hop. I was so ready for this. I have been making Halloween for days now! I craved pretty summer colors! This challenge could not have been more perfect. I made my own background paper using Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, and Berry Sorbet. I love this technique so much I have already used it several times. I got the inspiration from the sweetheart master stamper Dawn Mcvey. Enjoy hopping!

    This is so beautiful! I love the background and the lovely roses!! Such a beautiful card!

    My new stamp sets were just delivered by the postman a few minutes ago so I am excited to break them out and play! That rose set is so wonderful!
