Tool Tuesday Crop-A-Dile
We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Eyelet and Snap Punch
This all-in-one tool punches and sets eyelets, snaps, and so much more. Easily punch through any material, thick or thin, then set eyelets, snaps, or any metal embellishment into your project. Ideal for punching paper, leather, plastic, metal, chipboard, acrylic, fabric, wood, poly, and much more.
It runs for about $22.00 dollars. I think its worth it just for the hole punch! I bought mine after I started breaking regular hole punches. The tags I sell in my shop are made from thick cardstock and I like to stack a lot of them and punch holes all at once. It’s a big time saver. I rarely use the eyelet tool but when I do it works great. The only down size I can find is its heavy and bulky. But, it seems sturdy enough to last forever and at $22.00 dollars I think that’s a good deal. Plus its PINK!

You should stop by the Joli Paquet blog. You can find some tutorials and free downloads. And this Fall you will find even more so hop on over.

Tool Tuesday-Zutter Bind-It-All
Today I"m going to review the Zutter Bind-it-All. Once again the color grabbed my attention. Who doesn't love pretty tools? It also has an aqua case you can buy separate. Eek pink and aqua my favorite! You buy the spirals separate also and they come in a variety of sizes and colors. The Bind-it-all runs for about $70.00. I once again used the online 40% off coupon from Hobby Lobby. I love what this product can do. It makes books, notebooks, scrapbooks, journals, and more. My very favorite thing about it is I can use the oodles and oodles of ephemera I have to make one of a kind books. I have used vintage postcards, antique cabinet card mats, and old book covers. I have seen books made by using food packaging! You could turn your kiddos favorite cereal into a cool notebook for them. What a great way to recycle! So what don't I like? Well, maybe I'm just a dork but I cant always get all the holes lined up right, and for some reason I always forget the order the pages go before you bind it. Ex: the front page goes on the back turned inward..blah...blah... I always get my husband to do it. He's much more patient than me. So all in all its a pretty cool tool. However I have noticed several more tools that seem to do the same thing have came out. You might research those before you purchase the Zutter Bind-it-all. If you like a different binding tool better I would love to here about it!
