Just a Few Projects

I have been searching and searching for something with lots and lots of drawers to hold all my favorite supplies. Well I was looking for something BIG but came across this little chest for only ten dollars. I almost didn't get it but I am so glad that I did. I think it turned out so cute! And it holds.....oh....maybe a forth of all my buttons. Yes, I have a button problem. he he.

Yesterday was dye day here. And I don't mean my hair. I dye and age almost EVERYTHING. It saves me time to pick a hot, calm day and do it all at once outside. I have a vintage rose print that I used as inspiration to dye ribbon. I just love how they look next to the print! I'm going to have a hard time using them now!

Oh how lovely! Your drawers are exactly what I am looking for, only instead of buttons I have beads and jewels that I want to organize in the same way! I also have a lot of things I need to dye myself as well - only I keep collecting and never dye anything because I don't know how to do it. I just love the vibrant colors of your ribbons! Gorgeous!!!

Love how the chest came out and the ribbons... gorgeous! I was planning a tag dye day for this week, but doesn't look as it that's going to happen.
What type of dye do you use when you do ribbon and do you start with white seam binding?

Great post! Love the chest! I bought a chest that is bigger with 30 some odd drawers and I just love it also! They are so handy!
You are so right about the simpler life. I am waiting for summer school to be out but have started a little purging here and there in the meantime but I have the bug too! Have a great weekend!
